Giacomo Casanova was so famous as a womanizer that his name (till date) remains synonymous with the art of seduction... surprised... Casanova was a man??? yea.. he was.. a real 1... he even has jail records for the numerous crimes he committed... but today, he is just a synonym for a womanizer... Just like Ravana is synonymous for an evil man or a demon... & is only known as the rakshasha who kidnapped Sita maiya & is the reason why we celebrate Dusshera... most people dont know that he was a devout follower of Shiva, an exemplary scholar, a capable ruler, knowledgeable of studies such as Ayurveda & political science & a maestro of the Veena... infact, his knowledge base made him even more powerful than 10 scholars put together... just that his arrogance became so big that he became a victim to his ego, ignorance & arrogance.
what is my point? My point is that you judge a person by only the evils he/she committed... & compare people with evil traits with them... but we absolutely ignore the fact that we are demeaning these people by comparing these super leechads with these devils... cuz even though evil... these devils were atleast more knowledgeable than these leechads we compare them with... even though these devils' did their sins... they had higher morals than these leechads we see in our daily lives... for example... did u know that Ravana vowed before a rishi muni that he shall not enjoy another man's wife against her will??? not very moral to enjoy another man's wife... but atleast moral enough to not do it against her will!!!
so before you compare someone with Ravana... make sure you CAN COMPARE THEM??? cuz its demeaning & derogatory to compare a dead man who was given moksha by Lord Rama himself with a leechad mortal existing now... similarly, here is a little something... you dint know about Casanova... before you compare a guy with him... ensure that he is worth being compared... Casanova was a man with an inquisitive mind... he had an intense appetite for knowledge.. so much so... that by vocation & avocation, he was a lawyer, clergyman, military officer, violinist, gourmand, dancer, businessman, diplomat, spy, politician, mathematician, social philosopher, cabalist, playwright, writer (he wrote over 20 works), even a con man & a pimp... he even practiced medicine as it was his first love & healed his hand by self when the docs suggested amputation because of the gun shot through it... so, before you compare... just answer... does this leechad even have 1/5th of his qualifications??? if not... you DEROGATE Casanova by comparing the two...
Casanova openly admitted that "by everything good or bad that I have done throughout my life, I am sure that I have earned merit or incurred guilt, and that hence I must consider myself a free agent... Despite an excellent moral foundation, the inevitable fruit of the divine principles which were rooted in my heart, I was all my life the victim of my senses; I have delighted in going astray and I have constantly lived in error, with no other consolation than that of knowing I have erred... My follies are the follies of youth. You will see that I laugh at them, and if you are kind you will laugh at them with me" & even though this is not very moral... Casanova’s ideal liaison had elements beyond sex, including complicated plots, heroes and villains, and gallant outcomes. In a pattern he often repeated, he would discover an attractive woman in trouble with a brutish or jealous lover; he would ameliorate her difficulty; she would show her gratitude; he would seduce her; a short exciting affair would ensue; feeling a loss of ardor or boredom setting in, he would plead his unworthiness and arrange for her marriage or pairing with a worthy man, then exit the scene... hence... Casanova would use them at their will & recline at a good note... or atleast i feel that way... so when you compare... ensure the leechad is not an absolute leechad & has some morals!!!
im not making any of this up... Source: the Internet aka a plethora of information! ;P
